These creative households perfectly embody the LB spirit.
We searched far and wide for two Canadian families who would naturally fit with the LB values. With our roots grown from the artistic Little Burgundy neighbourhood in Montreal, it’s no wonder we’re drawn to the imaginative & vibrant families of David and Meghan as our LB FAM ambassadors. Learn more about them and their creativity in the Q&As below. |

Our friends have called us the Bicaradis for years and this nickname, which is the contraction of our two last names, is now kind of like our official name haha. David is a visual artist and Cloé works in communications. As a couple for more than 13 years, we had the pleasure of becoming Louise’s parents in 2020. And we can’t forget our Colette, our French bulldog, the family mascot! Lovers of art, culture, food and music, we are always ready to discover or support a new artist. We try as much as possible to show lots of different things to Louise to develop her curiosity and open-mindedness!
How does Louise inspire your creativity? She opens our eyes to the future. She allows us to have a long-term vision of what we want for our family. Being parents leads us to believe in bigger projects that are spread out over time. It’s also really fun to make her see small and big things in life and in return, to look at them too with children eyes.
Current favourite shoes of the FAM? We’ve always had a soft spot for Vans. The brand represents us really well, with its involvement in the fields of art, music and sport (skateboarding) and we have had the pleasure of collaborating with them for years. But for some events, we love our Dr. Martens and Birkenstocks are perfect for the country! |

MEET MEGHAN, JAMES, ROSIE & ACE
Hi! I’m Meghan. I’m an abstract painter, and I live in Vancouver, BC, with my husband James, and our two kids Rosie and Ace. We love spending time together as a family; out in nature, at our favourite restaurants and cafes, playing and making crafts/projects at home, and cooking together.
How do your kids inspire your creativity? I love watching the kids as they draw and paint there’s such an honesty and freedom in their marks, and so much joy as they create. It’s easy for me to get stuck in my own head sometimes when I’m painting, and watching their carefree interaction with the materials always inspires me to take more risks and find more joy in the process of making.
Current favourite shoes of the FAM? James has been loving New Balance runners, I’m all about the Birkenstock clogs right now for these transitional months of spring, the Native slip on shoes are Rosie’s all time fav, and our go-tos for Ace are the Vans Old Skool sneakers. |
