LB & Reebok present: Jérémy Noel
From art direction, to illustration, Jeremy Noel works in all sorts of mediums. For this project, we gave her carte blanche to bring her creative vision to life. Get to know her and the project below.
How would you describe what you do? As a multidisciplinary artist, every project is a new challenge and a new journey, where I’m constantly working with new subjects. My goal is to impart my point of view to every project and implement my vision in a sustainable way.
What is your creative process? I like to start off with gathering what I’ve got on hand and getting inspired by the subject itself. It is a messy process, but my vision gets clearer as I’m creating a new purpose for the material. The magic really happens at the end when the piece is coming together and the detailing is getting polished. |

What is the inspiration behind this piece? I’ve always loved a good statement piece. The type of piece that affirms my queerness and boosts my confidence level. When LB reached out for this collab with Reebok featuring the Club C, I automatically thought of reworking the leather to create a powerful collar that expresses my femininity and the pride I have to be able to have a voice in the LGBTQ2S+ community.
Can you tell us about the creation process? I started off by cutting out the material and creating a pattern that spoke to me creatively in its forms and shape. When playing with the leather, I was driven by the laces tracks, which reminded me of a graphic version of some delicate lace. Reinterpretation is my main inspiration when creating, and that is what sparked it all for this project. |

Lastly, what is bringing you joy right now? I believe that creating with a sustainable mindset makes everything more joyful. Being able to create a new purpose for existing objects while being fashionably relevant is a true joy. Keep up with Jeremy here. |
