CONVERSE RENEW

Giving cotton waste a new life.

Converse is renewing what they do. The result: second-life Chucks you can feel good about wearing. The brand set out to reinvent their products, innovating their manufacturing processes to create sustainable versions of the silhouettes you know and love.
The Renew collection all began with a focus on upcycling plastic and denim just last year. Now this season Converse is getting creative with their cotton waste. Canvas scraps are collected from their factories, shredded and strengthened with polyester to produce a yarn blend that’s spun and woven to create a uniquely textured Converse Renew cotton upper. |

Made with 30 to 40% recycled cotton canvas and a regrind recycled rubber sole, the silhouettes breathe new life into discarded materials, otherwise destined for waste. They look good, you feel good. It’s a win-win situation.
